Privacy Policy
1. Scope and operator
This Privacy Policy explains how the Kimiro iOS app and the kimiro.app website process personal data. Kimiro is operated by Gameport LLC (“we”, “us”). Kimiro creates AI stories, images and videos from a portrait you select in the app. This website displays prepared examples and does not accept photo uploads. Privacy contact: dev@kimiro.app.
2. Data processed
The app uses your selected photo (including the depicted person’s appearance), previews, generated images and videos; a user session identifier, selected story or preset, history, job status, credit balance and subscription status; app and iOS versions, device model and screen resolution, app language and time-zone offset. The app keeps local diagnostic logs about requests and errors, and our servers keep technical logs. Selecting a photo does not upload your whole photo library. The app uses iOS features to save results and may cache a source photo to continue a story.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
Photos and derived media are used to create the selected appearance and connected scenes. History and identifiers let you return to results and track unfinished jobs. Device information is used to start a session and obtain app configuration. We process your photo on the basis of your consent, given when you select a photo and start a generation; you can withdraw it at any time. Data needed to provide the service and purchases is processed to perform our agreement with you, and diagnostic data in our legitimate interest in keeping the app reliable. We do not use your photos or results for advertising.
4. Servers and AI providers
For a generation, the app sends a JPEG photo and the chosen preset to the Kimiro server and downloads the result. To create and store results we use external AI and cloud providers, which process photos and results on our behalf only to perform the requested function. Some providers may be located outside your country; where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Storage and deletion
History, source photos and results may be stored on your device, and history can be restored from our server. We keep photos, results and history while your account is active or until you delete them. Removing a history entry deletes its upload from our server. Deleting your account in Profile deletes your user data, resets the session and clears the app’s history list; residual copies in backups and technical logs are removed during their regular rotation. Files you exported to Photos or other apps remain there until you delete them.
6. Your rights and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights of access, correction, erasure, portability, restriction, objection and withdrawal of consent. Their scope and exceptions depend on jurisdiction. Withdrawing consent may prevent the corresponding generation. To exercise your rights, write to dev@kimiro.app. We may ask for information needed to confirm that the request concerns your account and will reply within the period required by applicable law. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Website, analytics and cookies
This website has no forms, photo uploads, advertising pixels, third-party analytics or code that sets cookies. Fonts are system fonts and media is served with the site. Browsers send normal network information to the web server; our hosting provider processes IP addresses and standard server logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
8. Age, security and updates
Kimiro is not intended for children under 13 or under the minimum age required in your country. Do not upload photos of children unless you are their parent or legal guardian. The app communicates with our servers over HTTPS; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We update this policy when our processing changes and will notify you of material changes in the app or on this website. Questions: dev@kimiro.app.
